Lycopene
You have probably hear of the powerful antioxidant carotenoid lycopene. Its the chemical that gives watermelons, tomatoes, and pink grapefruit their red color. And, heating or cooking tomatoes gives you more lycopene benefit, because this make it more absorbable and increases the antioxidant activity.
Lycopene provides protection against breast and prostate cancer and heart disease. In a recent clinical study, it was found to give protection against pancreatic cancer.
You can get more lycopene by eating tomatoes or watermelon than you can by taking lycopene supplements.
Which Water Should You Drink?
Today, almost all facet water is at least partially contaminated by various contaminates. That’s why most of you drink bottled water. The fluorine in the water is most dangerous. During WWII, Russian researchers found fluorine affected the brain and made people docile, less aggressive and more agreeable. So they feed their prisoners sodium fluoride to reduce their aggression. Here in the USA, facet water also has sodium fluoride and the government refuses to take out.
So what water should you drink - reverse osmosis, bottled spring water, or distilled.
Distilled is the cleanest water which contain no minerals or contaminates. Reverse Omosis is not as clean as distilled but it is close. And bottled spring water sold in store is not as good as the Reverse Osmosis. I usually stay away from store bottled water. It hard to know if you are getting purified water in a bottle.
Because Distilled water is pure water and has no electrical charge it is better not to drink this type of water all of the time. So what I do is rotate drinking Reverse Omosis and Distilled. I also add Alkalife to both types of water to charge it up with sodium and potassium minerals. The charging of these waters makes them alkaline and reduces acids in the body.
Are You Deficient in Magnesium?
More than 50% of people in the US are deficient in magnesium, since it is found in small amounts in green leafy vegetables, avocados, nuts and seeds, and whole grains. You need to eat these foods every day and most people don’t. In addition, if you are under stress this will deplete your magnesium supplies.
Magnesium promotes bone flexibility, prevents heart disease and type 2 diabetes. In recent studies it has shown to reduce colorectal cancer by 40 percent in people that get a high level of magnesium.
Daily recommended dose of magnesium is between 400 - 1000 mg. Excess magnesium can make you have diarrhea or can move your food faster through your intestines reducing the amount of nutrients you might absorb from the food you eat.
Recently I found an ionic magnesium which is the form that is absorbed directly through mucus membrane of the intestinal tract. No digestion required. If you want to know more about this product send me an email at: Mineral Remedies Natural Remedies Popularity: 21% [?]
