Herbs
Can Heal You or Save Your Life
A
history
Herbs have been used for hundreds of years before
Christ. Perhaps since the time humans first began to roam the earth.
Using herbs was the only way these people had to heal and recover
health.
In the 1800 century, physicians would bleed their patients since
they believed that if a person was sick their blood contained the
disease. There was some truth to this and some people would get
well and others would get sicker or would be bleed to death.
Every period in history has had a health idea that does not work
and makes people sicker. Herbs, all through time, have had an effectiveness
and usefulness in all kinds of diseases. Herbs work now as they
have in the past. If they didn’t, they would have been abandon
in the past and you would have never hear about them.
In the 19th Century
At the turn of this century, more and more people started to move
to the cities getting away from traditional herbal use and mother’s
herbal medicines. In the cities, new doctors were practicing the
application of new products called drugs.
Drugs, isolated active chemicals pulled out of herbal plant, were
applied to a sickness in concentrated form. In this form, drugs
are a poison and kill and destroy more than the disease in your
body. Taken for a long period, they will eventually cause death.
It seems so strange that in the past physicians would bleed people
to eliminate the poisons in a person’s blood, this was not
right; and, today physicians put poison in the blood to make people
well, this also is not right.
Herbs are considered food since they come from plants, trees, berries,
fruits and shrubs. It is herbs, fruits, vegetables, and their juices
that are the bases of all natural remedies and medicines. Combine
this with good thoughts and exercise and you have a formula for
curing illness.
Eating the right proportions of these foods, gives you the health
that was intended by nature. It is the Natural Nutritionist's job
to give you the correct proportions.
When you are sick,
look for herbal combinations as a starting point in getting yourself
well. Herbs take longer to cure your, so just stay with it.
A Morning Power Smoothie
Here's some thing that can make a difference in your health by
drinking it each morning. A smoothie that is packed with vitamins,
minerals, protein, fatty acids, and bioflavonoids. Here's what I
drink for morning energy and a feeling of well being.
In a blender combine the following. If you don't have all of these
foods just add the ones you have and little by little get them all.
- one banana - fresh or frozen
- 1/2 cup of fruit that you like - strawberries, peaches, blackberries
etc.
- one small gala apple cored and cut into peices.
- a tablespoon of sunflower seeds and a teaspoon of pumpkin seed
- one-two teaspoons of flax seeds
- 4 vitamin C powder capsules opened and powder placed into blender
- pour rice dream and almond milk into the blender to get the
right consistency
- you can also use apple juice in combination with rice dream
- you can also use a little honey if you like.
Blend this combination for 1-2 minutes. Now it's ready to drink.
I some times freeze my strawberries to cool this drink a little.
Drink one cup or so and if you have any left over put it in a thermos
and drink it a couple hours later. The vitamin C will help to minimize
the smoothie's oxidation.
Smoothies digest and get into your blood and body quickly. This
is one of the benefits of smoothies.
My constipation
ebook gives many smoothie combinations that you can
make to keep you well and to relieve and prevent constipation.
Smoothies reduce the amount of work your body has to do to digest
this food and the nutrients get into your blood and body quickly.
